The Eugene Thunder is a successful youth fastpitch club fielding youth area
teams since 1995. The team was formed to give young girls the opportunity to
learn the game of fastpitch at a high level.
Past successes of the Thunder Organization include:
• 4 ASA State titles
• 3 Northwest Regional titles
• 1 National Qualifier title
• 12 ASA National tournament appearances
• Top 20 finish at ASA Nationals 6 times
• Top 10 finish at ASA Nationals 2 times
To compete at such a high level the team travels most weekends during the
summer to Portland or Seattle to face the best competition the Northwest has to
offer.
The Eugene Thunder strives for more than just wins and as our credo suggests
our organization is about teaching young girls on how to handle adversity and
success through sports. This requires that each and every girl understands
about dedication, hard work, ethics, skill and life development….on and off the
field.
